Getting started
Is Roomie free?
Yes. Creating a profile, browsing, and matching are all free. We may add optional paid extras later, but getting started won’t cost you anything.
Where is Roomie available?
Roomie is growing fastest across the Gulf and the wider region — but anyone looking for a roommate is welcome to join.
Matching & hosting
Do members have to verify their identity?
No — verifying your ID is optional. Members who do it through our partner Didit get a verified badge on their profile, so you can look for it when choosing who to talk to. Everyone confirms they’re 18+ when they sign up.
Can I list a room without looking for a roommate?
Absolutely. Hosts are welcome — post your room and let compatible people come to you.
Safety & privacy
Is my information safe?
You control your profile and what you share. Chats stay in the app, and you can report or block anyone. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime from within the app. Our Account Deletion page explains exactly how it works.
